Mowag Cheetah Jagdpanzer

The Jagdpanzer Mowag cheetah is a tank destroyer of the Swiss company Mowag.

History and Development

Prompted by the development project hunting tank cannon (also called Kanonenjagdpanzer ) of the Bundeswehr were completed for a comparison test three different types of hunting Panzers Henschel, Hanomag and Mowag. The army decided to use the product of Hanomag. The Cheetah Mowag the beginning of 1960 was built has an AC Protective ventilation and automatic fire detection and extinguishing system in the engine compartment.

The only prototype is now at the military museum in Full.
