Jagged Edge (group)

Jagged Edge is an R & B band from the USA. It consists of the twin brothers Brandon and Brian Casey ( born October 13, 1975 in Hartford, Connecticut ), Richard Wingo ( born September 3, 1975) and Kyle Norman.

Band History

Jagged Edge have their origin in Atlanta, Georgia, after the Saints had gathered experience singing in church choirs. The band consists of Brandon ( Case Dinero ) and Brian ( Brasco ), Kyle ( Quick) and Wingo ( Wingo dollars). The plan was at that time the " Biv Ten - Label " by Michael Bivins to get a contract, but this did not materialize unexpectedly.

It began with the production of the first demo CDs. After Jermaine Dupri heard a live a cappella performance of the quartet, he tied Jagged Edge immediately with a contract to his So So Def label. Jagged Edge began to write her own songs, to refine their texts and thus became megastars in the USA.

Once in 1998 reached the first single and the first album, A Jagged Era of Gold, already the second album Jagged Edge Heartbreak climbed a year later on multi-platinum. 2001 was placed with the album Jagged Little Thrill again a platinum disc out. Then it was two years quietly to Jagged Edge. Many fans believed in the end of the tape after the last single was 2001 Goodbye. But the fans were wrong and Jagged Edge came forward in 2003 with the single Walked Outta Heaven and the album Hard, which immediately reached gold status back.

2006 saw Jagged Edge for the first time on the front seats of the German charts. Their 2005 released single Nasty Girl which they in memory of Notorious BIG recordings together with Diddy, Nelly and Avery Storm was the TV show Germany's Next Top Model, in which the title of the soundtrack was very successful. Due to this success, the fifth album was released in May 2006 already.

After a break of more than 3 years Jagged Edge are back and publish in summer 2011 with their album " Remedy" with the single " Flow Through My Veins". To this end, according to a video was filmed.
