Jaime Gavilán

Jaime Gavilán Martínez ( born May 12, 1985 in Valencia, Spain ) is a Spanish football player. He plays at left midfield for FC Getafe.

Career

At just 17 ​​years Gavilán was already in the senior squad of the Spanish first division club FC Valencia. But he came in the 2002/03 season only five appearances and the following year by no professional use. In the summer of 2004, the Valencia gave it to CD Tenerife in the Spanish second division. In 2005, he was to return, but gave in Valencia directly to Getafe, where he scored five goals in 32 games. Then he wanted to have Valencia back in the summer of 2006. In the 2006/07 season he played 12 games for Los Che, of which only one over the full season. The second half of the following season he again spent on loan at Getafe, where he regularly came into use again. For the 2008/09 season Gavilán signed a four -year contract with FC Getafe, where he has since been one of the top performers of the team.

Gavilán was in 2003 with the U-20 national team of Spain runner-up.
