Jaime Lozano

Jaime Arturo Lozano Espín ( born September 29, 1979 in Mexico City) is a Mexican football player who is also known by the nickname Jimmy Lozano and El Actor. The second nickname stems from its origins in a family of actors. Lozano, the most in the middle is used, is a fearsome free kick taker with a strong left foot.

Club career

Jaime Lozano made his professional debut in the Mexican Primera División 1998 Dress UNAM Pumas, for which he stood until 2001 under contract. In the 2001 /02 season, he completed a one-year stint at Atletico Celaya, before he returned to his hometown and with Pumas both championships of the year 2004 - the first and then the Clausura Apertura - won. After he got there, however, no new contract and so he joined in the summer of 2005 on the UANL Tigres. But even there he was not happy because you finally took it out of the first team and put them in the playing in the second league farm team Tigres Los Mochis. He gratefully took therefore in autumn 2007 an offer from the CD Cruz Azul, which he was allowed to return not only to the first division, but also in the capital, where his family and friends live.

National

The Panini picture collection with the number 253 for the Football World Cup 2006 in Germany proves Lozano, who had already participated in the World Cup qualifiers, was considered a strong contender for appointment to the World Cup squad of the Mexican national team. However, poor performance in advance of the tournament eventually led to the fact that he was able to witness the World Cup on home screen only.
