Jake Lloyd
Jacob Christopher Lloyd ( born March 5, 1989 in Fort Collins, Colorado ) is an American actor. Gained worldwide attention Jake Lloyd especially with the films Jingle All the Way and Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace.
Biography
When Jake Lloyd was five years old, the family moved to California Lloyd. Soon after, he was discovered by a talent agency and it was followed by appearances in commercials and also first roles in series and in the film Unhook the Stars ( A light in my heart ) by Nick Cassavetes. Acted as talent, Jake Lloyd got in 1996, the main role of the little boy in the movie Jingle All the Way. The strip was a huge success and played worldwide around 130 million U.S. dollars. Furthermore, Lloyd stood for several television commercials before the camera, including Ford, Gatorade, Kentucky Fried Chicken and Bayer.
After he promised was awarded mainly by Arnold Schwarzenegger's role in supporting the promise, he was by the success of the film known enough to work on another film productions allowed. 1996 played Lloyd the role of Mark Armstrong, the son of Apollo astronaut Neil Armstrong, in his TV movie debut Apollo 11, 1998, he landed the role of nine -year-old Anakin Skywalker in George Lucas ' science fiction film Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace.
As a child star Lloyd was acting again for advertising. He was seen by the Star Wars marketing contracts on Kellog's and Pepsi- Cola products and starred in a commercial for Jeep. At this point, Jake Lloyd was ten years old.
