Jäkkvik

Jäckvik ( sometimes spelled Jäkkvik ) is a small town in Swedish Lapland on a tip of the lake Hornavan.

The place belongs to the municipality Arjeplog, is located on the tourist route Silberweg and is especially suitable as a starting point for hiking in the nearby national park Pieljekaise ( Pieljekaise 1133 m above sea level).

The Jäckvik Fjällcenter is a relatively new ski area, which has existed since 1997.

The Royal Trail leads through Jäckvik. To the north it 96 kilometers to Kvikkjokk and south 86 km up to Ammarnäs.
