Jalalabad ( kirgis. Жалалабат; Russian Джалал - Абад ) is a city in the southwest of the Central Asian republic of Kyrgyzstan. It is the administrative seat of the territory Jalalabad. The city has 89,000 inhabitants (2009 ), making it the third largest city in the country.
