Jamal (Band)
Jamal is an existing since 1999 with a break from 2001 to 2004 Polish musical duo from Radom. It combines elements of hip-hop, and the Raggamuffin reggae with such world music and jazz in his music.
Jamal consists of the singer Tomek " Miód " Mioduszewski and producer Łukasz Borowiecki. Mioduszewski first played in various metal bands. In 2001, he joined the reggae band " Le Illjah ", with which he won the first prize at the Reggae Festival in Ostróda. Borowiecki attended the State Music School " Oskar Kolberg" in Radom, where he studied bass and keyboards. Since 2001, he continued training at the jazz department of the State Conservatory " Fryderyk Chopin " in Warsaw.
Published in 2005, the two EMI their first CD entitled Rewolucje. 2008 then appeared Urban Discotheque.
