James Anderson (tennis)

James Anderson (born 7 September 1894 in Enfield, New South Wales, Australia; † December 22, 1973 in Sydney) was an Australian tennis player.

He won the men's singles at the Australian Championships in 1922, 1924 and 1925. 1922 and 1924 he was also the men's doubles success.

At Wimbledon, he won in 1922 along with Randolph Lycett the doubles title.

From 1920 to 1925 Anderson came in the Australian Davis Cup team to use. He played a total of 36 matches, of which he won 28.
