James Berardinelli

James Berardinelli (* September 1967 in New Brunswick, New Jersey) is an American film critic. He has published on the websites ReelViews and Rotten Tomatoes than 3,650 film reviews (as of February 2009), added every year about 250. His website is called ReelViews daily about 80,000 times.

Life

Berardinelli studied in the years 1985-1990 Electrical Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. He is known as an author of the depth, well-researched movie reviews, which often have a dry sense of humor and provide background information about the films. His reviews are often quoted in Germany, including on the website Filmstarts.de. He was up to his death with Roger Ebert friend who Berardinellis work in high esteem.

Berardinelli married in 2005 a long -standing regular reader of his criticisms.
