James Frain

James Frain ( born March 14, 1968 in Leeds, United Kingdom) is a British film and stage actor.

Life

Frain was born the eldest of eight children of a broker and a teacher in Leeds, but spent his youth in Essex. He graduated from the University of East Anglia, and then attended the Central School of Speech and Drama in London.

He was discovered by Richard Attenborough, who undertook Frain for his film Shadowlands 1993. Since that time, film and television offers do not stop.

Parallel to his work in front of the camera Frain also stands for the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Royal Court Theatre on stage.
