James Galloway (film editor)

James Galloway is an American editor in film and television.

Life and career

James Galloway began his career as an editor in the late 1960s with the support of several episodes of the television. For Hall Bartlett's film production Jonathan Livingston Seagull in the occupation of James Franciscus, Juliet Mills and Philip Ahn he received in 1974 along with Frank P. Keller an Oscar nomination for Best Editing. From the late 1970s on, he worked as a cutter for numerous television films, television miniseries and TV series. This includes for popular series such as Lou Grant or Remington Steele.

In addition to his Oscar - nominated James Galloway was nominated in his career as an editor for six Emmy Awards and received eleven other award nominations over the American Cinema Editors. Three times he was able to win the coveted trophy.
