James Goldstone

James Goldstone ( born June 8, 1931 in Los Angeles, California, † November 5, 1999 in Shaftsbury, Vermont) was an American film director, producer and screenwriter.

Life

James Goldstone directed the 1977 thriller roller coaster. In 1980 he directed The day the world went under. For his work as a director at Kent State from 1981, a drama that reconstructs the student uprising of May 4, 1970, James Goldstone won an Emmy. He was also a visiting professor at Columbia University in New York and president of the Vermont Film Commission.
