James Herndon (media psychologist)

James Neil Herndon ( born May 16, 1952 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States) is an American media psychologist.

His behavior forecasting strategy, Affective Encryption Analysis, had some controversy resulted. He received the 1988 doctoral degree ( Ph.D.) in Educational Technology from Arizona State University. Affective Encryption Analysis has been applied recently to predict the outcome of the U.S. presidential election of 2008. Through this research instrument were also future trends, anti-Semitism concerning predicts. It defines media psychology as " the application of research-based media to change behavior ."
