James Key (Formula One)

James Key ( born January 14, 1972) is a British engineer in Formula 1

Career

James Key began his career in racing as a designer at Lotus, where he was involved in the GT program. In 1998, he came as a data engineer for Jordan Grand Prix, where he was later race engineer Takuma Satō. Shortly after taking over the Jordan team by Midland F1 Racing 2005 he was technical director there. At that time he was one of the youngest technical directors in Formula 1, even after the acquisitions of the team by Spyker F1 in 2006 and then by Force India in 2008, he retained his position in the team.
