James LeGros

James LeGros (* April 27, 1962 in Minneapolis, Minnesota ) is an American actor.

Life

LeGros first occurred at the South Coast Repertory Theatre. In the mid-1980s he played several roles in television series; in the comedy True men he joined in 1987 with James Belushi and John Ritter on. In the action film Point Break 1991 he played alongside Patrick Swayze, Keanu Reeves and Gary Busey. In the Western Bad Girls he was in 1994 alongside Madeleine Stowe, Mary Stuart Masterson, Andie MacDowell and Drew Barrymore to see. For his role in the comedy Living in Oblivion - Completely turned, in which he appeared alongside Steve Buscemi, Catherine Keener and Dermot Mulroney in 1995, he was nominated in 1996 for an Independent Spirit Award.

In the years 2000 to 2001, he appeared in the television series Ally McBeal. For this role he was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award in 2001. In the television drama Damaged Care, he joined in 2002 in a starring role opposite Laura Dern and Diane Ladd on. In the film drama November, he played alongside Courteney Cox in 2004 one of the main roles.

LeGros is married since 1992 to actress Kristina Loggia, with whom he has two children.
