James M. Beggs

James Montgomery Beggs ( born January 9, 1926 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA) between July 1981 and December 1985, the sixth head of the U.S. space agency NASA.

James M. Beggs studied Business Administration at Harvard University in 1955 and reached his master.

On 1 June 1981 he was nominated by President Ronald Reagan to the Administrator of NASA. From July 1981 on, he then led the NASA until he retired from NASA announced on 4 December 1985, which became effective on 25 February 1986.
