James M. Roe

James M. Roe ( born 1943 ) is an American amateur astronomer and asteroid explorer.

The engineer who lived from 1995 to 2003 in Oaxaca City, the capital of the Mexican state of Oaxaca. There he discovered in the years 1998-2002 a total of 94 asteroids ..

He currently lives in St. Charles County in the U.S. state of Missouri, where he founded the Alliance for Astronomy 2004, a non-profit organization for the promotion of astronomy and related sciences.
