James Marsters

James Wesley Marsters ( born August 20, 1962 in Greenville, California ) is an American actor and musician. He became famous for the role of the platinum blonde vampire Spike in the television series Buffy - The Vampire Slayer. He was also involved in the final season of Angel - Hunters of darkness into just called roll with.

Biography

He grew up with his brother Paul and his sister Susan in Modesto on, was married to the actress Liane Davidson and is divorced for several years. Today, he takes care of his son ( Sullivan, born 1996) and his niece, with whom he lives in Los Angeles (Santa Monica ). He has a German girlfriend, Patricia, who he already dedicated several songs as well as his entire second solo album since 2004. On 14 January 2011 the wedding of the couple was held in Los Angeles.

After the completion of Davis High School, he attended the Juilliard School theater schools, Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts and the American Conservatory Theater. He worked about 10 years as an actor in the theater, including in New York, Chicago and Seattle. In the 1990s he moved to Los Angeles to begin his career as a film actor.

After several supporting roles, among others, in the series Northern Exposure, he succeeded to the role of the vampire Spike in the series Buffy - the Vampire Slayer of the breakthrough. In the 2007 and produced in March 2008, the first U.S. televised two-parter The Capture of the Green River Killer (German Green River: The trail of the killer ), he plays a supporting role in the serial killer Ted Bundy.

In January 2008, the film opened P. S. I love you in German cinemas. In the 2009 released movie Dragonball Evolution, he can be seen in the role of Piccolo.
