James McGee (author)

James McGee ( born August 11, 1950 in Chatham, Kent ) is an English writer.

Life

McGee was the son of a British officer. His father's occupation brought with it that he. His childhood and youth at various locations of the British Army in the Federal Republic of Germany, Gibraltar and Northern Ireland

After McGee had worked for several years in various industries, he turned to writing. With the implementation of his protagonist Matthew Hawkwood ( Bow Street Runner ) McGee was also known in the German -speaking world.
