James Moorhouse (politician)

James Moorhouse ( born January 1, 1924 in Copenhagen, † January 6, 2014 ) was a British politician.

Life

Moorhouse attended King's College London and Imperial College London and studied aeronautics. He was a member of the Conservative Party. From 1979 to 1999 he was a deputy in the European Parliament. In 1999 he left the Conservative Party because he to the euro did not agree with the policies of the Conservative Party under William Hague in relation to the party and joined the Liberal Democrats.
