James Oyebola

James Oyebola ( born June 10, 1961 in Lagos, Nigeria, † 27 July 2007 in London) was a British boxer. His nickname was Big Bad.

Career

James Oyebola was bronze medalist of the Commonwealth Games 1986. Between 1994 and 1996 he was also British heavyweight champion.

Death

On 23 July 2007 Oyebola was shot in the early morning hours in the front yard of a night club, among other things in the face and irreversibly injured after he had a group of three young men prompted to be observed in the UK since July 2007, outdoor public restaurants valid smoking ban. His family eventually decided to discontinue the life-support measures, whereupon Oyebola died.
