James S. Fishkin

James S. Fishkin ( * 1948 ) is a professor of communication and political science at Stanford University. He is known for his work on Deliberative Democracy. He developed in this context, a method to Deliberative polling. He is Director of the Center for Deliberative Democracy at new Stanford University.

James S. Fishkin reached his Bachelor and his Ph.D. at Yale University. A second Ph. D. He graduated from the University of Cambridge.
