James Springer White

James Springer White ( * August 4, 1821, Palmyra, Maine; † August 6, 1881, Battle Creek, Michigan) was a co-founder of the Seventh- day Adventist Church and husband of Ellen G. White. He is considered the father of the Christological interpretation of prophecy. James White was the second President of the General Conference ( world church ) of Seventh- day Adventists (after John Byington ) of 17 May 1865 to 14 May 1867. He took over twice the mandate of 18 May 1869 to 29 December 1871, and from August 10, 1874 was also to 6 October 1880. James White teachers, itinerant preacher and author.
