James Surowiecki

James Surowiecki ( * 1967 in Meriden (Connecticut) ) is an American journalist who became internationally famous with his book The Wisdom of Crowds ( Original title The Wisdom of Crowds ). In this he represents is how decisions of masses can turn out more intelligent self-organization, but also statistical effects than that of individuals. He is editor of The New Yorker.
