James T. McDermott

James Thomas McDermott ( born February 13, 1872 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, † February 7, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois ) was an American politician. Between 1907 and 1917 he represented two times the state of Illinois in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

1914 McDermott was re-elected to Congress, where he held again on March 4, 1915 his former seat, which had been temporarily unoccupied. Until March 3, 1917, he could spend another term in the U.S. House of Representatives. In 1916 he abandoned a bid again. After the end of his time in Congress, he resumed his previous activities in Chicago again. There he is on 7 February 1938, died.
