Jami' al-tawarikh

Jami ' at- tawarich (Arabic جامع التواريخ, DMG ǧāmi ʿ u t- tawārīḫ ), known in German-speaking countries as a universal history, is an encyclopedic work of the late 13th or early 14th Century, which the history of the Mongols up to this time reproduces.

It is written in the Persian language and was the vizier Rashid al-Din ( Rashid ad -Din Fadl Allah ) written, the minister at the court of the ilkhanischen Öldscheitü was. In addition to the secret history of the Mongols universal history is the most important historical source for the early history of Mongolian.
