Jamie Campbell-Walter
Jamie Campbell -Walter ( born December 16, 1972 in Oban, Scotland ) is a British racing driver.
Career
Jamie Campbell -Walter started his motor racing career in 1993 in the British Formula Vauxhall Junior Winter Series, where he finished second overall than in 1993. In the Formula Vauxhall Junior 1994 he became third. In 1995 he moved into the higher be classified Formula Vauxhall and finished fifth overall in the standings. However, another formula career was denied him.
After a year's break, Jamie Campbell -Walter in 1997 moved to the sports car racing. In the TVR Tuscan Challenge 1997 he won two races and finished the championship as the fourth. In addition, he completed a few races in the British GT Championship, where he won a race. In 1999 he moved to Lister and won along with Julian Bailey, the British GT Championship.
After sporadic participation in the FIA GT Championship in the past few years, Jamie Campbell -Walter took along with Julian Bailey in 2000 with a Lister Storm GT Championship at this part. With five wins, they dominated the race series and won the World Cup. In subsequent years, Jamie Campbell -Walter took with changing partners seven more wins in this championship. In 2004 he moved after the announcement of the withdrawal of Lister from the FIA GT Championship at Creation Autosportif.
