Life and career
Delgado tried in his career first foothold in singles. On the Challenger Tour he scored three tournament victories, including two in 1999 and another in 2001 His highest singles ranking was ranked 121 on 20 August 2001, however since 2002 he has been active and successful, especially in the double: .. Yet he won 15 doubles title. At Grand Slam tournaments he came in individual never beyond the second round also reached double but already both at Wimbledon and at the U.S. Open, the last sixteen.
