Jamie Gregg

Jamie Gregg ( born March 18, 1985 in Edmonton, Alberta ) is a Canadian speed skater who specializes in the sprint distances. He started at the age of five years with the speed skating. His father, Randy is a former ice hockey player of the Edmonton Oilers and his mother Kathy was speed skater.

Gregg started for the first time in November 2007 at the World Cup and specializes in the sprint distances over 500m and 1000m. At the Olympic Games in 2010 Gregg was in front of his home crowd at the Richmond Olympic Oval roller on the 500 m.

At the World Cup finals in 2011/12 in Berlin Gregg scored his first World Cup victory over the 500 meters distance.

Gregg studied biology at the University of Calgary.
