Jamie Oldaker

Jamie Oldaker ( born September 5, 1951 in Tulsa, Oklahoma) is an American drummer and percussionist.

Life

Between 1971 and 1973, Oldaker was a member of the Bob Seger band. In 1974, he joined Eric Clapton's studio and touring band in and remained until they disbanded in 1979. He remained in conjunction with Clapton, and was among others again between 1983 and 1986 worked for him.

Besides Clapton Oldaker played with Ace Frehley, the Bellamy Brothers, the Bee Gees, Peter Frampton, Stephen Stills and Leon Russell.

In August 2005, Oldaker his album Mad Dogs & Okies. He could win as guest musicians Eric Clapton, Vince Gill, JJ Cale, Willie Nelson, and Bonnie Bramlett.
