Jamie Spence

Jamie Spence ( born May 26, 1963 in Tunbridge Wells, Kent ) is an English professional golfer. He entered in 2003 taking over from Mark James as chairman of the European Tour 's Tournament Committee.


Spence was 1985 professional golfer and has ranked in the top 100 on the European Tour Order of Merit more than a dozen times since 1990, where in 1992 he reached his best ranking 10th place. His two tournament victories won Spence in 1992 at the prestigious Canon European Masters at the 2000 Moroccan Open.

He was victorious in 1992 in the British team at the Alfred Dunhill Cup at St Andrews. In 2000, he represented both in the Dunhill Cup and in the WGC - World Cup the English colors.

The sworn Arsenal FC supporters is married to his wife Sally Ann since 1990 and has two sons.
