Jan Costin Wagner

Jan Costin Wagner ( born October 13, 1972 in Langen ( Hessen) ) is a German writer.

Wagner holds a degree in German and History at the University of Frankfurt am Main, where he graduated with a thesis on Adalbert Stifter. He wrote seven crime novels so far, five of whom play in Finland and have the melancholy to his deceased wife grieving Commissioner Joentaa the protagonist. The Joentaa novels have been translated into 14 languages.

Jan Costin Wagner is an active member of the German national author. He lives in Frankfurt am Main and in Finland, the home of his wife.
