Jan Gmyrek

January Gmyrek ( born March 2, 1951 in Kraków ) is a former Polish handball player who was most recently manager of the Lower Austrian provincial division SG Horn / Waidhofen and now is responsible for the youth work of the Lower Austrian regional league UHC Eggenburg.

In Poland, he played with the club Stal Mielec in 1980 January Gmyrek joined one of the first Polish player in the West. He played several years in Eggenburg ( Austria ), where he was able to repeatedly win the title of the Austrian scorer. He was in his time one of the best mid - construction player in the world and one of the best handball players in Austria.
