Jan Hofer

Jan Hofer ( born January 31, 1950 or even 1952 in Buederich, according to media reports actually John Neuenhofer ) is a German newscaster. He's since October 2004 chief speaker of the evening news in the First German Television.

Professional career

Hofer is the son of a craftsman. He attended primary school in Buederich and later a boarding Langeoog. He served his 18-month military service and studied business administration in Cologne.
