Jan Hoffmann

Jan Hoffmann ( born October 26, 1955 in Dresden ) is a former German figure skater, who started in a single run for the GDR. He is the world champion of 1974 and 1980 and the European Championships in 1974 and 1977 until 1979.

January Hoffman's first coach was Annemarie Halbach in Dresden. He later coached at Jutta Müller in Karl- Marx-Stadt.

Back in 1968, denied Hoffmann at the age of only 12 years, his first Olympic Games.
