Jan Koemmet

January Koemmet ( born August 18, 1961) is a German hard rock and heavy metal guitarist as well as an international designer.

Life

Koemmet played on the album Restless and Wild of the heavy metal group Accept. After his departure, he and other members of Accept, Frank Friedrich and Dieter Rubach, the band Bad Steve. From 1989 to 1992 was Jan Koemmet the guitarist in the orchestra of the musical Starlight Express in Bochum. He studied design, history of art, aesthetics and media theory. Since 2000 January Koemmet is the head of an advertising agency. He has received national and international design awards. January Koemmet taught at the Universities of Dusseldorf, Kassel and Wuppertal and held lectures and seminars at the Pop Academy Baden- Wuerttemberg. In early summer 2011 Jan Koemmet founded together with Liane Vollmer Storm the Metal - Pop Duo LION TWIN.
