Jan-Lennard Struff

Jan- Lennard Struff ( born April 25, 1990 in Warstein ) is a German tennis player.

Career

His first match on the ATP World Tour, he played at the Mercedes Cup 2012 in Stuttgart, where he received a wild card by the tournament and took on the side of Robin Kern in doubles. They lost the first match in two sets 4:6 3:6 and against the German duo Dustin Brown and Christopher Kas. In the 2012 season, Struff fetched in a single four tournament wins at ITF Futures Tour and stood twice in the final of a Grand Slam tournament. In doubles he won a total of six runners-up two titles on the ITF Futures Tour. In the years 2011 and 2012 Jan- Lennard Struff won each of the German singles championship.

His biggest success on the ATP Tour Struff reached the tournament in Marseille in February 2014. Was only in the semi-finals came off against world ranked tenth Jo- Wilfried Tsonga, whom he defeated with 6:74, 5:7. Due to this success, he improved to 99 in the world rankings.
