January Lennartsson ( born September 22, 1981 in Västerås / Sweden) is a Swedish handball player. Its body length is 1.87 m. Lennartsson is married and has one daughter.

Lennartsson, who played for the Danish club AaB Håndbold ( back number 7) and for the Swedish national team runs ( number 9 ) is mainly used as a right winger.

Jan Lennartsson began in his hometown at IVH Vasteras with the handball game. Later he joined the top club IK Sävehof to Gothenburg, where he debuted in the first Swedish League 2000. There he won the 2004, 2005 and 2006, the Swedish Championship. In 2007, he moved to Denmark, where he joined AaB Aalborg Håndbold from. With AaB Håndbold he won in 2010 and 2013, the Danish Championship. After winning the championship in 2013, he returned to his homeland.

January Lennartsson has been disputed 125 caps for the Swedish national team. With Sweden, he also participated in the European Handball Championship in 2008 in part in Norway, but was eliminated already in the main round after his team was in the last game failed in Germany.

January Lennartsson is enrolled at the University of Gothenburg for mathematics, especially analysis of weather statistics and prepared himself to his last Doktorbeit ago. During his stay in Denmark rests his studies.
