Jan Mak

January Mak ( born 1948 ) is a Dutch football coach. In his previous career, he was active both as a club as national coach.

Career

Mak was active as a player in the Netherlands, Germany and Brazil. Starting in 1973, initially trained Randstad Sport, FC Groningen and vv C.E.C. from Emmen, before he took over in 1977 FC Volendam. Under coach Leo Steegman the club had risen in the Eredivisie. 2000 Mak returned back to Sweden and signed up again for IF Elfsborg, where he was responsible for the junior section of the club. In the spring of 2008 he took over as successor by Raoul Shungu the care of the national team of the Seychelles in the framework of qualification for the 2010 World Cup. In December 2010, he IF Elfsborg transferred together with Tobias Linderoth and Sanel Duzel the coach of the U-17 youth team.
