Ján Mikolaj

Ján Mikolaj (* October 19, 1953 in Bratislava) is a Slovak politician. He is a member of the SNS.

Mikolaj was in the Slovak cabinet, which was formed after the 2006 elections under the leadership of Robert Fico, served as Minister of Education and Deputy Prime Minister. In March 2010, he also took over the office of the Minister of Construction, a position he held until July 2010. After the 2010 parliamentary elections, he was elected as MP for the National Party in the House of Representatives, where Deputy Chairman of the Commission for education, youth, science and sports.
