Ján Mucha (born 5 December 1982 Bela nad Cirochou, Czechoslovakia (now Slovakia) ) is a Slovak football player. He is a goalkeeper in the Slovak national football team and at Krylia Sovetov Samara under contract.

Career

Ján Mucha began playing football at Slovan Bela nad Cirochou in his birthplace. About the stations MŠK Snina and ASK Inter Bratislava he arrived in 2002 as a 20 -year-old to the top Slovak club MŠK Žilina. Here he was twice Slovakian champion and also won the Slovak Supercup. In 2005 he moved to Poland to the local top club Legia Warsaw. In his first two seasons, he was behind Łukasz Fabiański still the number 2 to 2007/08 season he became first-choice goalkeeper and one of the best goalkeepers in the Polish Ekstraklasa. In 2010 he moved to the English Premier League for Everton, where he came so far, however, only in cup competitions used.

National

After working in the U- 19 and U - 21 team Slovakia Ján Mucha made ​​his debut on 6 February 2008 in a friendly against Hungary (1-1) for the Slovak national team. With the Slovak national team, he qualified for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. In this tournament, he was goalkeeper and completed all four games of his team.
