Jan Potměšil

January Potměšil ( born March 31, 1966 in Vysoke Myto, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech actor and former child actor.

Biography

At the age of eleven years, debuted in January Potměšil in 1977 published and staged by Ota Koval and Jaroslava Vosmiková Drama Jakub on the canvas. Until 1989, he starred in productions such as The woman behind the counter, The Boss knows the prosecutor and The Princess and the Cobbler with flying. On December 8, 1989, shortly after Potměšil participated in the November demonstrations, he was in a car accident in which he drew upon a spinal cord injury that paralyzed him partially. Although he has since been confined to a wheelchair, he continued to play with theater and in film.

On 27 January 2012 Potměšil participated in a charity concert in aid of the Chinese lawyer Gao Zhisheng and the members of the banned religious group Falun Gong.
