Jan Sobol

January Sobol (born 22 May 1984) is a Czech handball player. He is 1.85 m tall.

Sobol, who for the top French club Montpellier HB ( Rückennr. 19) and plays for the Czech men's national handball team ( Rückennr. 11) runs, is most often used on outside right.

January Sobol debuted in 2004 for the top Czech club HCB Baník Karviná in the Czech league. There he won in 2005, 2006 and 2007, the Czech Championship. Already in the summer of 2006, there have been rumors of the emerging right-winger will courted by a top French club; in December - before the World Cup so - gave Sobol his move to Montpellier HB known. With Montpellier he won in 2008, 2009 and 2010, the French championship.

January Sobol has been disputed 94 caps for the Czech men's national handball team, but so far there is only second choice behind Captain January Filip. Sobol also took part in the Men's Handball World Championship for Men in 2007 in Germany, occupied with his team, but only the 12th Place.
