Jan Soetens

January Soetens ( born January 7, 1984 in Geraardsbergen ) is a Belgian cyclo-cross and road racing cyclist.

January Soetens won the 2001 at the Super Prestige in Gavere the race the junior class. In the season 2004/2005 he was Belgian champion in the U23 class. He won the end of 2005 at the U23 European Championship in Pont -Château the silver medal behind his team-mate Niels Albert. 2006 Soetens professional with Jartazi - 7Mobile. In his first year there he won the Grand Prix Julien Cajot in Leudelingen. In the 2007/2008 season, he was Belgian champion of the amateurs. Since 2009 Soetens drives for the Belgian Continental team Revor - Jartazi.
