Jan Starý

January Stary ( born February 7, 1986 in Pardubice, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech ice hockey player who is under contract with HC Pardubice in the Czech Extraliga since 2004.

Career

January Stary began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior section of the HC Pardubice, for the first team, he made his debut in the Czech Extraliga during the season 2004/ 05. In his rookie year, the winger prepared in four games before a goal. In the following three seasons, he received increased glaciation in Extraliga team HC Pardubice of where he for the KLH Vajgar Jindřichův Hradec and HC VCES Hradec Králové aground in parallel in the second class 1 League to play matches. Since 2008 he is a regular player at HC Pardubice and won with the team in the seasons 2009 /10 and 2011/12 respectively to the Czech league title.

Internationally

For Stary Czech Republic took part in the Euro Hockey Tour in 2009.
