Jan Thomas Lauritzen

Jan Thomas Lauritzen ( born February 6, 1974 in Sarpsborg, Norway) is a Norwegian handball player. He is 1.92 m tall and weighs 95 kg. Jan Thomas Lauritzen is married and has two children.

Lauritzen, who plays for the Norwegian club Tistedalen and 254 times for the Norwegian national aground, is used as a back room on the right, or as right winger.

Jan Thomas Lauritzen began in 1984 in Sarpsborg with the handball game. In 1993 he moved to Uradd and 1995 continue to Viking Stavanger HK. Here he became Norwegian champion and twice Norwegian Cup winners. In 2002 he hired the TUSEM food in the 1st Handball Bundesliga, with whom he won the 2004 EHF Cup. After the relegation of his team he played for half a year for the TuS Nettelstedt - Luebbecke before he moved to the SG Flensburg- Handewitt 2005. With the SG he was in the 2007 Champions League final, but was defeated there against THW Kiel. Between 2007 and 2009 he played in the Danish first division club Bjerringbro - Silkeborg. In summer 2009, he moved to Norway to Tistedalen TIF. Two years later was called to the palm section of the club in Halden Topphåndball, for the Lauritzen accrued since then.
