Jan Zweyer

January Zweyer, actually Rüdiger Richartz, ( born December 12, 1953 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German writer.

Career

First, he studied architecture in Bochum and Dortmund, and then took another degree in Social Sciences at the Ruhr- University Bochum and worked as a research assistant at the university. Between these two studies, he worked when he was a freelance journalist for the WAZ. Now he is only a freelance writer. Zweyer writes crime fiction, both short stories and novels set in the Ruhr area and is very popular in North Rhine -Westphalia, due to their realistic descriptions.
