Jana Krause

Jana Krause ( born June 10, 1987 in Munich) is a German Handballtorfrau.

She started at the age of nine with the handball matches at the Upper Bavarian SC Wessling, where she subsequently played for six years. She then moved for a year to TSV Ismaning and joined the Bundesliga club HC Leipzig in 2003, where they owned a second game right for the SV Union Halle-Neustadt. From 2006, the 1.88 m wide goalkeeper stood at the Bundesliga 1 FC Nuremberg under contract by which she won the German championship in season 2006/ 07 and 2007/08 season. In summer 2009, Krause moved to Buxtehude SV. Since the 2013/14 season it runs on for the Thüringer HC.

Jana Krause has accumulated 34 caps for the national team. Their international debut was on June 3, 2007 in Paderborn against the Czech Republic. With Germany, she participated in the World Cup 2013.

End of March 2009, she started at the Ansbach University of the bachelor program International Management, a course of study that has been adapted to the HS Ansbach and designed for top athletes.
