Jane Jamieson

Jane Jamieson ( Jane Leanne Jamieson, born June 23, 1975 in Sydney ) is a former Australian heptathlete.

In 1995 she came at the World Athletics Championships in Gothenburg to 14th place and won at the Universiade in Fukuoka. In the 1996 Olympics she placed 20th Place.

In 1998 she won silver at the Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur. In 1999 she was in the pentathlon at the World Indoor Championships Fifth, Maebashi. At the World Championships in Seville, she gave up.

A tenth place at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney followed gold medals at the Universiade 2001 in Beijing and at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester.

Four times she was Australian champion (1995, 1996, 1998, 2001).
